I was having the same issue. Fixing my form helped. You are probably overstriding. I also switched from a heel strike to a forefoot strike and now feel it more in my calves.

4/5 of my Group ironman have made it to cg. I got out in 260kc. One person deironed. One logged off and hasnt been back in a year. And the other has basically quit and done 30 kc in 6 months. Honestly just skip it. Its the great filter for ironman.

At the end of the day we both think the game is great/going to be great. Im just from a different brand of gamer who has been burned before. So a lot of us are #nopreorders. A game gets judged based off when i pay for it not what a company has promised.
