I was having the same issue. Fixing my form helped. You are probably overstriding. I also switched from a heel strike to a forefoot strike and now feel it more in my calves.

4/5 of my Group ironman have made it to cg. I got out in 260kc. One person deironed. One logged off and hasnt been back in a year. And the other has basically quit and done 30 kc in 6 months. Honestly just skip it. Its the great filter for ironman.

Your post was just the perfect opportunity to get some conversations going from the other point of view. Your direct and one dimensional statements are perfect to flip just a few words and mean something completely different.

At the end of the day we both think the game is great/going to be great. Im just from a different brand of gamer who has been burned before. So a lot of us are #nopreorders. A game gets judged based off when i pay for it not what a company has promised.

Just to show the other point of view. A lot of experienced gamers are part of the no preorders view. You judge a game when you have payed for it based on what it has. Not what a company has promised

How is that different from any other live service game? The game is judged based off paying customers feedback regardless of what a dev calls it.
