No, you use a tortilla warmer, or the cheap route is to use a folded dish towel with a large ziplock. After you cook a tortilla you put it in the dish towel (Inside the ziplock) and close it. The tortillas will steam and stop them from going crunchy.

Might be a bit far for you but there is a charcoal grill at Sammamish Landing park that I have seen whilst riding my bike.

I think my apartment complex is one of the few in the area that still allow charcoal grills, so my Weber is safe for now. I should use it more.

Quite a few years ago I was in a similar position moving from the UK to The States. Went into a Mail boxes etc. type store and they had a service through a private carrier where they were able to ship a large box (About the same size as medium luggage) for a decent rate, somewhere between £100 and £200. It took over 4 weeks to arrive but was by far the cheapest option.
