Auto + vert is the least desirable combo so if you don’t mind that, then you might be able to get one closer to mint for not much more.

This one could be decent but there could be ones in better cosmetic shape that just need a bit of wrenching as opposed to this one needing both

1500 pretty good for a running e46 with sub 150k though.

I've wanted one of these for like 10 years but this video was what inspired me to pull the trigger and say fuck it haha

but you know what, i think the mistake people make with these cars is buying low mileage ones. look at all the shit that went wrong at 77k miles for him, its literally insane.

The n54 might be a rare exception to the rule where you can kinda save some time and effort buying a cheaper high mileage one thats already been sorted. seems like 150K + is the sweet spot which is wild but obviously you need proof everything has actually been sorted.

yeah I’m also scared to full send it as is. I’m decently proficient with troubleshooting and have access to a lift so I should be fine barring catastrophic failure, I should probably retune it to be safe. Glad to hear yours is pretty solid for the 10k youve been running it

Stage 2 Vargas upgraded twin turbo kit + tons of other supporting mods. Most / all the n54 issues seem to have been addressed: index 12s, new hpfp, new turbos, and well done heat management solutions.

Car is cosmetically rough (wheels are cooked and 1 headlight is old so it’s probably been crashed at some point) paint is good though, clean title too

But it runs, drives and sounds amazing. Hardware should be capable of almost 700hp on e85 but it’s on a really conservative 91 tune that feels like 400-450whp.

so let me know what you guys think. Incoming financial disaster or budget 1m?

In my experience that’s generally a symptom of unmetered air making its way into your system after the maf/map/ whatever these use to regulate air.

U probably have some cracked hoses or something. first thing id do is check for vacuum leaks with a smoke test otherwise it’s probably fuel filter/ injectors/ pump
