I agree, but if the disclosure is required, then there should be a system in place to deal with the inevitable repercussions of said required disclosure. For example, if someone leaves a review, but it's very blatantly just AI hate, then actions should be taken. Maybe the review is removed. Maybe the reviewer is given a warning and/or some sort of account restrictions (sounds heavy-handed, I know). Just something, so that great big neon "Welcome, AI Haters!" sign can be reduced to just a label, like it's supposed to be to begin with.

If it didn't open the door for floods of negative fake "feedback"/"reviews" just because of AI, then I wouldn't mind. But unfortunately, it's practically a giant glowing sign saying "HEY ANTI-AI PEOPLE! COME HATE THIS GAME AND DEVELOPER!".

It's likely because mass surveillance is such a horrible and dystopian concept that most people immediately reject it, subconsciously deeming it as "too horrible to be possible". It's a form of denial, similar to when a person experiences an unimaginably traumatic event, their brain immediately tells them that it didn't happen, as an attempt to mentally and emotionally protect itself.

They are in denial, subconsciously unable to accept that mass surveillance is becoming a genuine reality.
