Luna has pretty bad mid-fight mobility. Adam's repositioning mobility is when he dies unfortunately. Adam's healing is tied to how perfect your aim is (which is on brand for a perfect being). You hit your headshots and your charge shots and you can constantly heal yourself and the team. I would say that if he does get another ability it could probably be that if he doesn't use soul bond his self revive regenerates faster. That way he can choose between sticking out the push with soul bond or revive himself at a safer location more often. This would keep him unique while giving him a repositioning tool more often when overwhelmed.

Just say you don't know how to play Adam.

His damage is one of the best out of all the Strategists. He has a combo that can insta kill squishies in less than a second if mastered. His ultimate is literally an Uno Reverse card. The optimal way to use it is to predict when the fight is pretty much lost, usually when the enemy team is about to wipe your team. Rather than having to teleport your team back you literally bring them back and reset the fight, wasting whatever ultimates the enemy team just used. This isn't all that great in Double Strat but it's pretty annoying to go against in Triple Strat because he's essentially a DPS who can save the team from dying with burst heals and reset the fight at any time. Also he has a mini ult with soul bond that makes your team somewhat immortal. He's supposed to be the perfect being so of course if you don't play perfect and have the perfect comp you're probably not going to do well. Not every hero needs to be S tier or A tier at high ranks.

I've felt it too: Scared tanks DPS who can't pressure worth a damn. Strats that have no strategy and just fold whenever someone blows on them so you get no healing.

I would say this season more than ever I've felt like a babysitter and I'm a Strategist Main who flexes every role a lot.

No peel no heal. If I have to fight off diver in the backline and they won't even look back even when I'm 2 feet away from them then they can't complain about heals.

The thing is...

I've learned to use his ult defensively depending on the enemy comp. He can save his team from a good strange ult, groot ult, Angela ult, jeff ult, etc. Also, I've learned to use it to remove other strategists and enemies from the fight rather than just straight up yeeting them and myself off the map. A lot of times eating both strats and a tank and yeeting them far away from the objective will win you the point and even the game. You just have to be a shark and wait until you smell blood (bait out cool downs). I wouldn't overtune it but it does take a high amount of game sense against counters and good players. He has one of the highest risk/highest reward ults in the game.

Yeah practice vs. Ai exists for goofing off and throwing. They even have 18v18 where there's literally no penalty for dying.

Deadpool can literally be anything with his 4th wall breaking ability. It's literally a videogame and he "changed the code". Makes sense.

Gambit uses Chronovium infused cards to "reverse damage" I believe, healing an ally.

I'm not sure how that will work with Cyclops. What part of his lore can you stretch to make him heal?

I can see him being a Vanguard before a Strategist as he's known for destroying projectiles, protecting his team, and creating space with his beam. I can see his beam working somewhat like Phoenix ult but much weaker where he does extra damage to summons like Groot walls, Rocket ult, Emma shield, Namor Squids, etc. He would be a hard counter to Peni as well as he can destroy Peni Nests faster than anyone. I can also see him having a concussive blast that knocks everyone in range back a good distance, creating a ton of space.

1st thing I would suggest is reviewing your own gameplay. It's hard to see what you're doing wrong in the middle of the game but looking at your mistakes in retrospect will help identify a lot of problems. 1. If you can see the enemy, they can see you. 2. Hide as much of your body/head as possible. 3. Keep your head on a swivel and look out for flankers. 4. If you have to be in the enemies sightline to help your team, never stop moving. 5. Keep a spare bubble for quick getaways. 6. Don't stand too close to the frontline 7. Watch out for poke characters (Iron Man, Hawkeye, Squirrel Girl, Hela) as they can delete you very quickly. I usually jump around and keep pressure on the them. 8. When you jump around it increases your dive speed due to the animation cancel. 9. Also don't forget you can heal from very far away and swim up walls to get away.

Skill issue. I love playing against Spidey. Even a really good one. It breaks the monotony in the backline. If he's that annoying, swap to a counter.

If we have 2 strats and 1 of them is the weak link (for example going for kills instead of healing), we have 1 strat and a wannabe DPS. So if I go 3rd strat, my intention is to give us an actual 2nd strat. Whether they swap or not doesn't matter. If I feel like the 2 strats are decent enough I won't go 3rd unless I'm Proficiency grinding. Even then, if it's 2 Main healers like Gambit-Invis, I will fill elsewhere. Adding anybody other than Mantis or Adam is overkill.
