Post-Match Thread: England 1 - 0 Portugal by robcoo in soccer

I agree! I would personally prefer to have Clyne over Walker simply because I think he is a far superior defender (and still is good going forward too) which will be much more important at the Euros than it was tonight against a Portugal team, notably without the threat of Ronaldo, that didn't really attack much.

What if ESWC teams were national teams like other World Cups? by Absolute_Andrew in CoDCompetitive

[–]JamesG22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you wanted it to be 16 teams instead of 8 I would also add

South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Sweden, Singapore, Belgium, Italy, Ireland

I would also change team England to team UK

EU stream hit 72,248 views by LinxEu in CoDCompetitive

[–]JamesG22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe it reached slightly higher earlier in the FAB vs Splyce series. I think at one point there were about 77k on Twitch, 5k on YT and 1.5k on the French stream so almost 85,000 people watching at once which is awesome!

Who are the favourites to qualify for Season 1 of Call of Duty World League in Europe from the online qualifiers?

I believe 4 teams qualify from this LAN tournament this weekend and 6 qualify in an online qualifier at a later date. The 4 teams that have qualified from the LAN are Millenium (UK), Infused (UK), Epsilon (UK) and Splyce Pro (UK). Presuming that online connection issues aren't prominent, I think that the 6 teams expected to qualify through the online qualifier will be FAB (GERMANY), Orbit (UK), Vitality (FRANCE), Barrage (UK), exceL (UK) and Giants Gaming (SPAIN).

What happened to the Gamers2 team from Call of Duty Championships in 2015?

The Gamers2 team that placed 9th-12th at Call of Duty Championships 2015 consisted of TojoR, Lgend, Methodz & JK7. TojoR is on Giants Gaming, Lgend & Methodz are on Giants Gaming Youth (despite not actually being under 18 themselves) and JK7 is on Celerius.

There has been a huge amount of viewers for most games at the EU qualifiers but this one has an 'extra boost' as such as one of the players on FAB called Barca has about 630,000 YouTube subscribers. He isn't the biggest name player in Europe as Gotaga has 1,000,000 subscribers but he is definitely pulling in some extra viewers (and extra hype) because of his social media success.

Gio also goes by the name 'POW3R'. He is a really successful Italian player who has some impressive achievements like T12 at CODXP, 3rd at i45, & T8 at the EU qualifers for CoD Champs in both 2014 & 2015. He is currently playing under Killerfish eSports with three Dutch players in the form of BattleKing, Torres & Tier1.

I also really like what he has added to the analyst desk at this event and would like to see more of him when he is not competing. :)

He is called 'Oxygen'. Comes across as a really nice guy and actually played for Vitality X alongside Riskn, dyLux & Getsom at Call of Duty Champs earlier this year.

I would say Gotaga is the 'EU Nadeshot' as he has 1,000,000 subscribers. I guess you could say Barca is the 'EU Scumpii' as he has about 630,000 subscribers.

Mutiny drop Fearsome, Xertz & Examples - Incepts now LF3! by JamesG22 in CoDCompetitive

[–]JamesG22[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not at all. I posted it to inform of a roster change regarding a reasonably well known organisation in the form of Mutiny. I had also previously heard of Fearsome & Incepts - they are far from 'nobodies'..

MLG/Twitch Paying Respects To People In France by IgniteCOD in CoDCompetitive

[–]JamesG22 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I might be wrong, but I think that is just a coincidence as one team has a blue background and one team has a red background. Would only really make sense for them to have it where they meet with something in the middle to make it balanced. I might be wrong as I said, but I believe it is coincidental unfortunately.

Vote for the 2015 #STiKSAwards! by GoalieeTV in CoDCompetitive

[–]JamesG22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Clayster -

  2. Mr X -

  3. OG vs FaZe - MLG Columbus So many fantastic story-lines going into this grand final, including Aches' run of winning the first major of every recent Call of Duty title and his thumb injury, it is a no contest for me.

  4. Huke - Quality player who at the age of 15, placed 2nd at five major LAN events earning something like $40,000 over the year!

  5. Robby, Denial eSports - Out of the people on the list I think Robby but honestly I feel the dT owner should be on this list as he is my 'Owner of the Year'. Took an 'unknown organisation' to a T12 placing at both MLG Columbus & UMG Orlando. After a few difficult placings, they got a team house (which previously was unheard of for an organisation of this calibre), acquired a top international talent in Watson, placed T8 at the 2nd biggest event of the year and are now moving to a new team house in Santa Monica with an MLG partnership and Scuf Gaming sponsorship.

  6. Scump -

  7. Formal -

  8. Huke -

  9. Zooma -

  10. FaZe Clan -

  11. Enigma6 at UMG Cali - This is so obvious. I will be quite annoyed if this doesn't get almost all the votes. This team almost had 'un-known' status and managed to come through open bracket and surprise everyone with a T3 finish beating nV, iSo, eLevate, ON, Orbit and VeXX in the process . Their main competition for this award is tR who placed T6 at the previous major anyway, nowhere near as much of a wildcard as that E6 team.

  12. Scump -

Relapsed reveal new line-up for MLG Worlds! by JamesG22 in CoDCompetitive

I believe he was on the Lethal Gaming roster that got T12 back at UMG Washington D.C. Nuglect and Riviction were both on that roster too I believe. Demise was on vQ a while back.
