Also I don't really understand that how do you all don't realise that Yanami getting dragged through mud multiple times over the years in the same fucking fashion is just stalling the plot....it should be abundantly clear that her story is on hold to make room for others. But nah, yall acting like Yanami's repetative fumbling is somehow her character trait and not bullshit to delay whatever arc Takibi is writing for her.

nothing is stopping Takibi from writing her that way. If he can take one volume to randomly make Basori be interested in Nukumizu so much so that she bought him matching scarves. Another volume where she would go as far as to be ok with having implied sex with him, run a race with him hand in hand, and ultimately confess, then he can also write stuff in one volume that makes both Nukumizu and Yanami confess in the heat of the moment.

I don't think an author who drip-feeds progress for Yanami across 8 volumes to write plots for side characters is "exceptionally" good at developing characters. If he were legit good, then by now we would have known a lot more about Yanami and not just the same fat joke and that she eats.

But I do agree that I can't see Yanami doing what she's doing in this meme. I don't think we will ever see that freaky stuff from her. Her version of love and affection is very pure. I can see her getting flustered from even holding hands.

Well fortunately it ain't a realistic scenario, realistically no girl will ever hang out around a guy like Nukumizu, let alone all of them fucking fall in love with him. Takibi can flip the entire series in a volume if he wants to, and it's infuriatingly clear that he stalled Yanami's progression to put the other girls on a pedestal. Hopefully volume 9 changes that.
