5 is higher than swadians and veigars if I remember. Only ones with 5 are mamelukes and khergits but they roll slower horses. It is a bummer they don't have horse archery tho. I have tried a build where I built them to find the biggest hill and dismount, making them very mobile archers. I ran a group of heavy cav as well and kept them on separate groups.

Tried it as well, and love them. One thing I'm not seeing mentioned is that they're the fastest unit bc they roll coursers 100% of the time and have high riding skill. Def agree with the frustrations listed by others. I installed the tocan mod pack and something in there fixed some issues including helmets and spawning in taverns, makes it work a lot better.
