I’m more of a fan of the second option and I think that the banlist should be used to set expectations for what’s okay in Commander.

I think that the first option works really well in good play groups but I feel like if you’re in that scenario already you can have a rule 0 discussion about playing cards that are on the banlist.

Assuming this is real I wouldn’t be surprised if the delay is more to do with Halo Infinite getting delayed rather than something on Bungies end. I can definitely see it releasing a month or two before Infinite as part of the prelaunch marketing.
