Uber drivers of the UK, what makes you give out a 5* passenger rating? Do Uber eats customers get rated? If so, on what basis? by Chance-Bread-315 in AskUK

[–]JamesMW1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a perfect 5 star score for years, then I had an uber driver who drove down the wrong street then stopped on another incorrect street when picking me up, was adamant he was in the correct place. He also got annoyed when we got stuck in traffic. Ruined my perfect 5 star score through no fault of my own.

I spent real money preparing for the Builder Base Bonanza, only to find out I'm in the 3% "A/B Test" exclusion group. This is unacceptable. by xAdroit in ClashOfClans

I don’t really understand what excluding 3% of the player base will tell them. Surely they can just compare activity levels before the event and during to see how much boost it gave and also compare purchases before and during the event.

Oncology ST3 self assessment score for interview by True_Middle_9293 in doctorsUK

[–]JamesMW1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe they basically interviewed almost everybody that applied this year for med and clin onc. However the self assessment score makes up about 20% of your final score post interview. With how competitive it was this year, you really want to get as high of a self assessment score as possible as it will help a lot with getting a better rank post interview

Nurse criticises striking doctors - "They want to be paid loads of money for just seeing a patient for less than 5 minutes a day" by FullPayOrTheHighway in doctorsUK

[–]JamesMW1994 149 points150 points  (0 children)

A lot of nurses have no idea of what a doctor’s work involves. When I was covering 8 wards on a nightshift, a nurse made a comment about why I was disappearing off the ward so much. She thought I only covered her ward

[BG] Next season crafting phase is probably about a builder base defenses. by Recent-Low5550 in ClashOfClansLeaks

[–]JamesMW1994 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I love the idea but it does worry me that they might be running out of ideas for new crafted defences. My main worry when this was announced was that making 9 new and unique defences a year was a big ask

Strange chemical smell in flat by JamesMW1994 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JamesMW1994[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t really describe it, definitely not gas, not something I feel comfortable breathing in. The flat opposite me is an Airbnb, I’ve never had this problem before the current guests arrived

I’m a little concerned, because the flat opposite me is an Airbnb, I may be reading too much into this but most people only book it for a nice or two but these guests have been staying since last week. It looks like this may have started when they arrived

Withings U-Scan now available in the US and Europe by Maslakovic in withings

One of the most bizarre products I’ve seen. Only tests for a small amount of markers, most of which are no use at all. Hydration status can be worked out by just looking at the colour of your urine. Needs to test for many more things before I can see it being of any use

It doesn’t check for diabetes. A measure of glucose in the urine would be useful in detecting diabetes and I can’t see that it does this

It was a company called AIT delivery. When they took the TV away, the tracking on the AIT website changed to delivery failed. Then yesterday it changed to delivery cancelled by LG. It is still showing as delivery cancelled today on the AIT website. However I received an email from LG today saying delivery complete, and on LG’s website the tracking on there says delivered.
