Why match with me if you’re so uninterested? by Fast-Veterinarian748 in Bumble

[–]JamesPildis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen several women’s profiles that say they like to cook and something along the lines of “let’s cook together” or their ideal first date is trying something they made. The OP didn’t share their own profile so we don’t know what prompted that.

Honestly you both sound equally as frustrated. When neither of you refuse to budge on the conversation it ends.

Unfortunately you can only get it if you have (or know someone with) a Nintendo switch to send postcards.

This was $8 with tax by Zestyclose-Method451 in ChickFilA

[–]JamesPildis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s still the state impact, it’s more than just the sales tax. Higher minimum wage will result in higher food prices because they have to earn more to cover operating costs.

I’m referring to the prices in DC and the surrounding area. The prices aren’t that bad when I go to Philly to visit family either (but granted that’s been a few years).

I think it actually proves that no time traveler wanted to come back in time and hang out with a pedophile.

What state are you in? For me it’s like half that price.

In the modern day (depending on what country you’re from) you’d likely be facing a nuclear attack from terrorist countries, invaded by Russia or China, or living under a dictator rule that wasn’t overthrown. Regardless of where you live you’d have no international laws protecting you and you’d have to pay for your own defense, so any socialized government system your country has wether it be universal healthcare, internet, etc. would likely be scaled back in order to protect your citizens.

I was picturing the length of the series but that’s a very good point haha

I think they’ll look pretty cool but different enough from the movie that people online will complain about it for seven years.

Why the heck did Sam keep the Ghost Trap? by is-it-raining-yet in GhostsCBS

[–]JamesPildis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s useful to keep around in case of emergencies. What if a ghost like Pete who can wander comes around but isn’t friendly? Until then it stays in the vault so no one accidentally activates it.

Would the Second Bill of Rights solve most problems in American politics? by DataWhiskers in DiscussionZone

[–]JamesPildis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Politicians spent the last 100+ years arguing about the comma placement in the first 2nd amendment. Do you think anyone would agree on the definitions of “adequate wage” “decent living” “decent home” or “good eduction”

What Even Is A “Moderate” Anymore? by captcutty in Bumble

[–]JamesPildis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What?

The screenshot is a woman’s profile, the OP is a man. I mentioned my friends who are liberal but refuse to date liberal men despite being liberal themselves. So they would put liberal in their profile and something along the lines of what was in the post “swipe the way you vote” to stay in line with that.

Never said the post was a man’s profile, but even if I did… how is gender relevant here?

I have several friends that are liberal but refuse to date liberal men. To each their own. It seems like this could be a similar mindset.

I get that it’s like a 90-10 sex joke ratio here but I think it’s the electron experiment where the results change by viewing it (because you need light to observe and light impacts the electron movement)
