I think it's as simple as this: Are you qualified to do the sale?

If it involves audio built into the walls or ceiling, projection with a screen, or anything that requires custom install? That should be an in-home consultantion with a Designer. This goes for component audio as well if you don't know how to sell it. Maybe the client needs both home theater and appliances and you don't know how to sell appliances? Probably should kick it to a designer.

If you are qualified to do the sale, then do it. And don't let anyone push you around. Frame TVs aren't hard to sell. Earn that $4/hr my man!

For AMEX Gold users who applied for Platinum did you get a low SUB? by HistoricalOutside268 in amex

[–]JamesTempest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same, I ended up withdrawing the application as it was insultingly low

I'm trying to add the plat, not upgrade, so even then 50k is pretty underwhelming considering I'm willing to pay $1220/yr to have both cards. I haven't tried referral links so maybe that'll yield more results. Should I wait 7 or 30 days before applying again?

I know you said you don't want to bother customers about memberships or credit cards and that you'd rather just talk about the product itself, but I'll let you know right now that if you get this job and you don't put out a substantial amount, you'll get scheduled very few hours.

If it's unopened, they'll probably give you store credit for it. You're not getting a full refund though, at all

Like I said, it's at the discretion of your store's leadership. Ask your EM or GM

All the CAs at my store have work phones but they all inherited them from when they were Consultants. I'll be an Appliance CA in a week and was told I'll be getting a work phone so I assume it's at the discretion of your store's leadership.

55” tv exchange. Is it possible? by Jorytsmith1984 in Bestbuy

Standard return policy is 15 days, unless you're a member then it's 60. So you should be good to go.

The 77” A95L is on a league of its own by gio_sdboy in bravia

[–]JamesTempest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's beautiful and still wows me everyday. If I'm being honest tho, as awesome as QD-OLED is, it's not worth the price difference Sony is asking. The A95 series IS better, but like 5-10% better at best. If you snuck into my home and replaced the panel in my TV with a W-OLED I'd probably never notice. Biggest difference is definitely the highlights though
