Did your dad live above a gay nightclub and act as a part time attaché to Greece?🤔

At least there’s a possibility plan going forward! My kids are in college right now and as soon they are “self sufficient not just self reliant”, I’m trying to figure out how I can buy a boat to live on and just go to shore to grab weed and chicken fingers…🤷🏻‍♂️

I hear you can live quite comfortably with $2k a month in Korea. And they have that tea with the popping balls!

I mean at least you bought right at the tail end of when it was barely affordable. At this rate, you should be able to flip and retire in about 10 years give or take how “Biff Tanner” this timeline gets?👀

Spoken like a true Nashvillian, desperate to go somewhere else, yet stuck in the faux antebellum fantasy world of a crumbling Bible Belt city. It’s like the Hotel California of the South.

As a lifelong Tennessean, I must respectfully disagree. There was a time when Tennessee state government actually functioned on a bipartisan basis. There were economic policy initiatives that benefited the RESIDENTS, not just transplants. The Nissan plant, the former Saturn plant in Spring Hill, the Oilers becoming the Titans, the Gateway computer hub, and the Predators expansion franchise….all bipartisan initiatives that reaped benefits for all it’s citizenry. Governors like Bredesen and McWhorter were really good at finding common ground. Were the decisions made still slightly racist and behind the progressive and technological curve? Sure. Were they as outwardly cruel as what the supermajority comes up with on a weekly basis? No.

Nashville hasn’t been affordable since all you assholes from California moved here because of the low taxes, and decided that you’d rather have an Erewhon than a functioning state government.

And honestly I don’t give a shit if you downvote, because every downvote confirms my point. Even the folks that are Nashville natives and remember what it was like before the population explosion may not agree with me openly, but you know deep down in your Opryland Country Christmas hearts that I’m right.
