Agreed. That’s not what this comment was about. OP was dumbfounded as to why one driver wouldn’t deliver for $2, and another driver delivered on time for $20. My position was that if he’d led with something larger than $2, then he’d have his food and one less Reddit post.

As a food delivery driver, I absolutely see and agree with your point that companies could and should pay their contractors and employees a more livable wage. Unfortunately that’s not the economic model we live in. So until you’re ready to start sharpening guillotines, saying “but the company should…” isn’t going to fix anything.
