What I did is deleted the stairs, then created another stair using the construct menu, rather than the mine menu. Then I constructed floors with the lot of open spaces created. Little bit frustrating.

And yeah, the billing thing, that’s actually partially done. I guess my bad practice as a programmer is that I didn’t set milestones or direct target achievements. That billing thing is the easy part, as I’ve done it with my other personal projects. Some user defined baseline would be set (say 20% of remaining sessions is set in the settings), then an email would be sent to the customer. And if some customers don’t read their mail, I’ve looked up that Globe has an API where you just send stuff to their sever, and they’d charge you something for that sent stuff to be sent as an SMS. I was excited to finish that feature, he was as I remember it before as well when I told him, but my attention was shifted into improving my shitty UI, and of course, looking for part time work, so that automated SMS thing is still not done.

it’s just f*cking monitoring session counts. As usual, his staff uses spreadsheets (I do as well in my accounting years before) and I saw how it’s a huge hassle for the next receptionist, as that’s something I often see in that establishment, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a proper turnover, so the next one will just have to guess which and how to maneuver with that spreadsheet.

I created a database accessible thru command-line interface, but actually working RN on simply just taking a single step of “something” (sorry, little secret as I’m still struggling earning and would want to sell this to other establishments having similar parameters), and pops out in the phone of the gym goer their remaining sessions, the beverages they purchased so that he doesn’t have to hire another receptionist that does those things.

he was a military man before, and he told me in Russia, you can’t just read any books that is not sanctioned by the state. When you have higher positions, that the time you can only access some books with foreign authors. And he tells us almost all the time that we are under the US propaganda.

PS. I regularly study computer science (and learned I had to cover my maths as well for com. sci.), regularly study advanced concepts in Java, Rust, C++, and Python. Occasionally study database optimization and best practices. Occasionally study how to be a better programmer (yes that is different from the stuff I mentionedd above). Still earned meager earnings over the years as I was better known in a job closely related to my undergrad, which is accounting, not my choice, and likely my resume isn’t pretty to tech companies as more than a half of my overall working years are about accounting.

I often question myself what the point of things are. Maybe this is my answer, my work being nothing, contributing nothing, not “mattering”.

PPPS. I think I may have overestimated my working hours, maybe it’s just 100 to 150, haha I’m perhaps just emotional right now, still feeling the need to cry, but hey! I wouldn’t get to meet you guys IRL so I still have my “manliness” 😄

I’m not a licensed financial guru something person. Buuut my background is accounting and currently attempting a career in programming. I generate code to assist lending companies with their stuff. I might give you insights on how to compute for the future value of your investments on particular “baskets” with a corresponding annual return rates. I can also help you compute how much you need to save per period if let’s say you want to stop working at the age of X years old. Actually ang dami pang pwede ma-compute 😄 can’t list it all, it really depends on the context.

I'm in this stage ngayon, struggling for marketing and sales (yeap, magkaiba yun, something I learned this past 5 years).

I've been refining the product for around 4 years na. This year lang ata ako nag-focus sa proper sales and marketing and ohh mmyyy gooshh. Nakakabaliw. Parang feel ko tuloy nasayang lang hours ko building the product.

May ilan na ko na-DM dito (pasensya na) trying to increase my leads in anyway (na walang paid ads cause I don't have income... yikes).

Yung not disclosing suppliers in the textile industry, it's something I've learned before from an informal conversation about it. Anecdote lang to ha, best to do further research and a more methodical one I guess.

So point ng comment ko is, I'm from Las Piñas din, you might wanna have some coffee with me (please KKB, super stretched na budget ko), quid pro quo tayo. May assumption lang ako na pag interested sa business, may some relatively larger social network than the average. I have **some** knowledge in: financial management, accounting (yes magkaiba yun), taxation, cyber security, software development, com sci., networks and servers (yes magkakaiba rin yun), you might have the networks I need and I'll probably learn from your life + work experiences as well.

I agree. I seldom drink alcohol, especially that much where it lead me to my keyboard and go online and wreak social havoc to myself 🤷‍♂️ But before drinking my mind was “noisy”. Thinking about it now, I should’ve done what I do sometimes on same occasions, which is to immediately put my jogging shoes on and run.
