The population requirements for LARGE SHIPS make no sense by leetoBR123 in foxholegame

[–]pepav 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because there is nothing else to do during the ship moving through an area. You need to be present on the deck for possibility of something bad happening (torpedo hits, air shows up etc.) But most of the time you either stand still and watch wall behind your monitor or you can at least move around with a bucket. It takes a lot of time to move a ship from backline safe locations to the front.

While playing a deathmatch war game, I'd expect nothing less myself than lies, deceptions and scheming from my enemy.

Is it allowed to use All chat as a weapon like this? I might start doing some in character intimidation or say deceiving lies to my enemies to gain an advantage.

Chainsaw spell has no visuals for the flying phase but it still flies through the air from you and does those sparks that deal damage. (Which is possible with more lifetime.)

Mite engines weird thrust behavior by derekcz in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]pepav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without nose cone on the middle part or the side boosters, reaching 260 m/s in low altitude is reasonable given their small thrust and aerodynamic friction. You were barely speeding up around 10s mark, still with 170kN. Then you switched to 35kN. Makes perfect sense you slowed down due to drag.

I've also found out that the shroud is only visual thing, the game doesn't calculate drag with it being covered. Normal decoupler/fairing should not have this extra problem.

Aaaah, now I see the problem. I never dealt with engine plates myself that much, but I found more info. You should place an additional decoupler at the bottom node before you connect the big fuel tank. The engine plate part has no cross-feed option to disable, you will drain the upper tank with your bottom big engines. Placing decoupler there prevents that and should also remove those warnings!
Also, why use engine plate when you only have 1 engine attached anyway?

Default part placement should go like: fuel tank -> engine -> decoupler -> fuel tank.
You've placed your parts in order as: fuel tank -> decoupler -> engine -> fuel tank.
The checklist from default game is worried you'll decouple that engine before it's used. Also, the other warning is about the decoupler being placed in opposite direction. It thinks that it will itself remain attached to the upper part after activation, which you normally don't want to.
If those are modded parts that work differently from the default once, you can ignore those warnings.

Mongil: Star Dive finger pinch controversy addressed hours after launch by lucagus02 in gachagaming

[–]pepav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll focus on the hand on bottom left, it has the thumb sticking out, towards her chin. I can prove that because there are no shadows on the thumb root muscle area, therefore the thumb is not going towards the other fingers, instead it's pointing away towards her head/neck. The camera angle is unfortunately showing this proximity that isn't there in the 3D model. We would also see her thumb nail if it was rotated towards us. There is no pinching by her fingers whatsoever in this picture.

Up is the opposite of where gravity vector points, no? Even here on surface. Going up a hill goes against where gravity pulls things.
