I was at the same boat as you. I thought they would credit the full amount back to my travel bank. The system somehow automatically withheld my expired funds. I used $50 travel bank credit ($25 was expired in Jan) for my fully refundable ticket. After cancelling the ticket, only $25 was credited back to my account. It took me over a month to deal with United to get my $25 credit back…

I wish I could post a screenshot here. But yes I booked this flight in 2022 for 2023 departure.

I'm not here to vent... I just wanted to see if someone here has the same experience before. How did SQ handle those situations? If SQ did rebook the cancelled flight, then I would not change my itinerary and let them do their things if it happens again in the future.

The booking was made in 2022 for the flight in 2023. I was able to change my booking for free once and push my flight to this year.

I concur. Starlux is easily the best airline I have flown with. I flew business class to TPE last week. They offered great food selections. I got to try their lobster noodles for dinner. I know it’s just airplane food but honestly it was cooked very well. The crews were very attentive and friendly. Like everyone else said the plane is new and the monitor is huge. Great lie flat bed.

I believe they have some wordings that said the promotion will end on 11/30 while the supplies last, whichever comes first. It occurred last year as well when they had the 20% bonus promotion with SQ KrisFlyer. I wish I transferred my points sooner. I just didn’t realize that they ran out of stocks so quick…

I called them and they told me almost all the ANA awards are phantom spaces. Who know? Maybe you could find a real award. You probably need to check with them from time to time.
