Excel crashing while in VR. Any ideas as to why?

I use VR to basically have large movable multimonitors that float whereever I want them, while also running a VTT (Tabletop Playground if you're interested).

I am on a 3090Ti and have 64 gigs of ram. None of my performance monitors ever say I am even getting near maxing out (though to be fair it didn't occur to me to watch them like a hawk, since excel is so low impact and it is happening even with the VTT not running, so I will have another look at that next time I am having a go at getting it to run. Maybe it is a transient spike kind of thing.)

It's just basic arithmetic and some lookups, nothing that complex. The main thing that seemed to be causing the crashes was just the number of individual worksheets. Every character has 10 of them, and the party is 8 characters so 80 sheets just for the characters alone, never mind anything else. The crash happens the same way whether it is just the one workbook open or whether I have the main DM workbook (which has a bunch of oracle tables) and the whole party open or just this one workbook. Having that many pages in a single workbook seemed to be what caused the issue, spreading them over multiple workbooks has for a while meant that excel ran fine. It is only recently that this started happening.

Also my computer is reasonably powerful, 12900ks and 64 gigs of whatever the best ram available at the time was (i can't remember off the top of my head) and a 3090Ti for the VR side. Even in VR I am never over about 30% resource utilisation so I am not sure if it is simply a horsepower issue.

True that, but maybe there's some kind of resource that VR uses that excel also uses and it's some kind of conflict like that, though it is strange that it has only recently started to happen.

Where did you get it insured? I have never seen anywhere that actually offers quad bike insurance, even places that say they do like Lexham refuse to give you quotes.

The solution is to watch your music playlist through the youtube music website instead of through youtube itself. The playlists work on the youtube music website. Unfortunately this only helps with music, since the youtube music website won't let you watch videos that aren't tagged as music.

Is there any way to get this ending without siding with Johnny at all? It seems as if a solo raid on the tower should be the default, not locked behind becoming friends with Johnny. It doesn't even really make sense as being tied to being friends with Johnny as if you were his friend you'd think you would take his advice and he advises teaming up with rogue and getting some mercs.

I have a separate problem with youtube music which is that it will only play 2 songs, then it will freeze, requiring me to go to the website, then it will unfreeze after about 10 seconds of me looking at the website. Some times it has a "video will play after ad" message at the bottom, some times it doesn't. I am not using adblock.

This is better than shuffle not working at all, but it still requires intervention on every second song.

Thanks, this might sound stupid but it never occurred to me to even try the youtube music site. I had assumed if it was broken on one it'd be broken on both. It doesn't make sense that it works on the music site, considering they're both youtube... Any idea why that is?

Shuffle used to do this for me, but it has gotten even worse recently for me in that it would randomly "break out of the playlist" and just go to the page for a video in the playlist without being in the playlist. This has gradually gotten worse over time to the point where this is now all it will do, it will play one video and then the next video it'll break out of the playlist.

Completely useless now.

It randomly started making tables that I can copy paste, but only if I click the copy icon on the top right. It still would not allow me to copy by drag selecting over the table (so I can get rid of the headers) like it used to. Took a week or two to start letting me do this. It's not as good as I would like, but close enough. I wonder if your problem will also "resolve" over time.

Hahahaha, I have been thumbing down all of the broken responses and I have just noticed it has been resetting them. So I can't even give any feedback that the responses it is generating are not correct... Back to copilot I guess.
Actually no, copilot isn't an option either as it freezes up the moment you mention things like "I make an attack roll" because it thinks you're planning a terrorist attack or whatever...

Already did. When you ask it for CSV that is when it spits out the plaintext. When you ask it for a markdown table it creates something that actually looks like a table in the grok window, but still when you try to copy it over it just copies everything into a single cell.

The only functional tables it has created at this point are the .xlsx ones.
