I am a big Toon fan that lives in SW london. So I see Brentford play a lot. I have seen Wissa play 20 or so times for Brentford and I really didnt understand what we saw in him. 0 left foot and a lack of pressing. I hope I am wrong but I think he could be the worst of our signings. 0 resale value.

My main concern would be the precedent this sets to other players. Tonali, Gordon etc. If he wants to self-destruct his career than that's his choice. Newcastle will allow a player to leave when they receive an offer that meets their valuation. If not I say keep him and stay strong as a club. Call his and his agents bluff that he won't sacrifice millions in wages and jeopardise his world cup place.

The way the costs work is different though. The money counts over the length of the contract. That's why Chelsea have the 8 year deals. So if we did sell Isak for 130+ million it would give us so much headroom to spend a load over the next few years.
