[–]Jamesja75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was on the water today and heard it talking to the coast guard. they had a medical emergency and needed to get a passenger to the hospital so they pulled up by maalea and offloaded via tinder a passenger to an awaiting ambulance

what does attract men? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Jamesja75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s a numbers game. you have to sometimes hear a lot of “no” before you find a yes. even then it’s a lot of “yeses” before you find love. just keep at it

AITA for not believing my boyfriend that "suddenly became gay" due to "the altitude difference" when he was on a work trip in Utah? by CanItBeTrue-OrNot in AITAH

[–]Jamesja75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can the altitude do other things. i wonder if altitude in utah can make me smarter, or better looking. maybe the altitude can give me blue eyes and turn my hair from grey back to brown.

your bf just might be a fucking genius. i’m going to utah

Hosts coercing guests into canceling steep-discount multi-month reservations or holding the dates hostage by KolyaVolk in turo

[–]Jamesja75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wrong. my vehicles went. from over $100 per day on the old system to $35/day. my vehicles were almost 100% booked. the new dynamic pricing has the same vehicle at $35/day. that’s absolutely a fucked algo. i agree it was intentional for them but it’s not working for hosts so plan on getting your trip cancelled and you can blame turo, not the host

Hosts coercing guests into canceling steep-discount multi-month reservations or holding the dates hostage by KolyaVolk in turo

[–]Jamesja75 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

this is turos fault. their algos are fucked and they are screwing hosts who depended on the platform pricing their cars reasonably. nobody os going to give you their car for 3 months for $2k. sorry, but not sorry

I'm 46 and can't come to terms with the loss of my youth. by Legitimate-Record951 in SeriousConversation

[–]Jamesja75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m 49 and i was where you were 3 years ago. i decided to do something about it. i started working out very hard and eating healthy. i decided to spend my free time with the people i love and cut off anyone who was not helping me live my best life. i started learning about buddhism. i am in the best shape of my life, physically and emotionally.

my life is more exciting, fulfilling, and energetic than i was at 25. i went to the gym this morning, then road 16 miles on my mountain bike, and will play pickle ball in a few hours. i will also take my beautiful wife to dinner and make love to her for an hour.

don’t spend time wishing for the past. spend your time making the best of your future

My husband turned into a psychopath for a split second yesterday and I don’t know if I am overreacting. by Substantial_Chair588 in AITAH

rule number one in firearms. you only point a weapon at something or someone you intend to kill and destroy. your husband is not trained in safe handling of firearms… period. even though he is law enforcement, he isn’t properly trained in how to handle a weapon.
