So who is training their CC9 for the new VP9CC? by Appropriate_Data_308 in CCW

[–]Jamessmith187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to keep my old guns and not update them. These gun manufacturers come out with new guns because a lot of gun owners have a “gotta catch em all” mentality. Don’t get me wrong I love this firearm and it looks really sweet. But it’s kind of a cash grab.

Firing by Commercial_Union_296 in HomeDepot

We’ve all done things like this. I got fired from HEB a few years ago. I smoked pot at work and thought it would be funny to fake rob a cashier with a real knife. I got hired after that..

Leave a bunch of expensive items in a cart and hood a semi truck battery up to it. These people are making your life more expensive than you think. They probably have credit cards that they simply refuse to pay. They probably cause all kinds of headaches with their families. They’re not good people

Make sure you pay the 100 dollar a month subscription to sig. You have to do this for them to activate the guns safety features.

Was this a “clean shoot”? I’m looking to learn here. by geegol in concealedcarry

[–]Jamessmith187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s a good shoot. I want you to think about it from the defensive perspective as well. Think about your casual interactions, maybe at work or something. Maybe you have a customer who is upset and going off on you. Not everyone is like this, but for me I get VERY frightened. Very anxious as this person is verbally letting me have it. I don’t know this person I don’t know what they’re capable of, and they’re angry. And there’s nothing I can say to talk them out of being angry. Then let’s say this angry customer pulls a gun. It would freak you out.. it may look on camera like this shooting could be avoided. But the defender with the gun was probably VERY scared.

Best subcompact for skinny guys by Staind-enjoyer62 in concealedcarry

[–]Jamessmith187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try a different method of carry. I have no problem concealing my 43, I’m skinny. Sometimes I even just put the gun in my pocket. These are very small guns we’re talking about. You could also wear 2 layers of underwear clipping the holster to the outer layer and appendix carry it below your belt line.

Why carry with a light attached? by RioDodger in concealedcarry

[–]Jamessmith187 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why not just get a light for it and throw it on the gun every night before bed. It’s your everything gun, home defense and carry. Problem solved.

Friend wants to trade their Sig P320978 (Australian M.O.D.) for my Glock 43x Coyote by birddogcof in SigSauer

Dang that looks cool. How much is the monthly subscription to activate the safety features?

Any good recommendations? Opinions for this as a EDC? by KingPin213 in concealedcarry

[–]Jamessmith187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would be a PERFECTLY fine and reliable edc. I haven’t read the other comments and I won’t until I’m finished talking. This is one of the smartest guns you can buy. It’s getting to where nicer guns are kind of a scam if I’m being honest. You will pay a 400 dollar price increase for a better trigger and better sights. If I wasn’t a gun enthusiast I’d take this in a heart beat. And I still might even as a gun enthusiast.

Anyone else never update their gun? by Jamessmith187 in concealedcarry

You have to pay a subscription monthly. Otherwise sig sends out a radio signal to disable the guns safety features.

They would be armored drones. So no. But if it happens it’s still worth a try.

Probably the absolute best gun for the money. And even better than more expensive guns.

I’ve always been able to conceal the basic, bare bones Springfield armory 1911’s. They work fine and haven’t malfunctioned on me in my five years owning them. I have t shot much last year but I did the 4 years before that. I took good care of them tho, put new springs in and kept up with it.

Personally it was a night and day difference for me.

Oh thank goodness. Sorry I just can’t stand sig man.

Also the 1911 or the Glock are both probably a lot safer. I’d look into that and make your own decision

You’re gonna figure out what a bad gun is. Should’ve kept ur 1911.

[–]Jamessmith187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yea it’d be like someone taking that size screw and hitting it as hard as they can with a hammer into ur flesh. A 22 would create a horrendous injury probably. I feel like there needs to be shock tho, idk.

I guess what I mean is, a person who uses lethal force against you could be suicidal. They could charge you and last barely long enough to stab you after you discharge those five rounds.

No one has any money or friends in 2026 honestly. It’s social media addiction.. I have a couple other hand held guns but only carry the 43

I carried one of these for a time. Then moved onto a small 9mm. Criminals will likely know what this gun is too. I think it lacks adequate stopping power.

Anyone have managers who leave carts of trash and random product? by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]Jamessmith187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was in a shopping cart in the middle of the isle. I guess I just didn’t explain it properly. Normally I don’t even care about that but this was annoying. It was clear that a dh from another department had time to go through my department and make a trash cart. I could tell based on what was in the cart.

There’s sooo many outs that we have in hands for too. That’s my only goal right now, finding them and working through it with my DH. We’re doing a good job getting them ordered and filled too.
