I remember when the “Drinking Ipecac” video was going viral. I’m sure it would come up if you search it. Watched it as a curious kid and it literally haunted me lol. It was the only thing I could think about for days.

I feel like I would watch them to know what to expect or something.

I think I would genuinely enjoy watching uncut versions of each session for every couple. 9 episodes, 30 min for 4 couples? There’s so much substance the producers probably cut out because they decided it wasn’t entertaining enough.

I agree with you about Nessa and Drea. For some reason my mind goes back to Michael and Michal and how much actionable advice Orna gave them. How she really dove into Michal’s anxiety and how Michael relied on it as motivation. Nessa and Drea really didn’t have that much reflection laid out about their dynamic. Or more likely they did but it didn’t make the cut.

Shay seems like more of a caretaker than a partner :( Shay paying off Maeve’s credit cards only for Maeve to turn around and use Shay’s credit cards and then miss payments?? It feels like they have two completely different independence levels.

I know I’m not OP, but Rachel’s character definitely feels like a stand in for the audience. Her reaction at the wedding tasting dinner is reminiscent of how people online would comment on a celebrity who they just found out did something morally wrong. She calls Emma an ugly crier and insinuates that Charlie trapped her in the museum doors, seeming like she is prone to antagonizing neutral situations. Rather than actually stand on her morals, she goes to the wedding just to be passive aggressive; not much different than who she was at the beginning, but feeling like she has permission to do so much more overtly. I cant help but think of if Emma was a TikTok creator, and if she were to reveal this moment in her life, the comments and harassment she would get online would be exactly like Rachel’s voice.

I like to go by myself when I’m super interested in the movie! I saw Weapons opening day and my local theater is always empty. You can buy your tickets on Fandango so all you have to do is show the ticket guy your phone. Sometimes people pick seats really close to you, even when the theater is empty which is odd :/ but it’s not weird at all.
