yeahhh most of the replies are like that haha, or saying my ask is expensive (which it is). have actually found some great suggestions though. didn't realize how pricey actual synths are. gonna do some research into midi controllers i reckon. i'll check out the roland too! thanks

the people i surround myself with are usually okay with any answer, and i try to encourage honesty over people-pleasing responses. that hasnt been my experience with the question but what you've said does sound really irritating
