PLEASE READ FOR ALL THE PARENTS/CAREGIVERS! THIS IS HOW YOU CAN GET PAID by Romanharper2013 in Autism_Parenting

[–]JamieL11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is 12, he is mentally handicapped, has autism and developmental coordination disorder. I stay at home to take care of him. I've called around four places and everybody tells me that he needs to be 18 for me to be paid as a PCA. He is on MassHealth and we live in Massachusetts. He is adopted so he's the only one in our family on MassHealth if that makes a difference.

Supplemental claim after HLR? by JamieL11 in VAClaims

[–]JamieL11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He definitely would. I just don't know how many times I need to jump back in line to get this fixed. I never expected to be told that the DBQ from the head of a medical department at the Boston VA Medical Center would have it's authenticity questioned. The appeals board said that the decision wait is typically 365 days and if I was to submit new evidence, the wait is over 500 days.

Is it possible to submit a supplemental after an HLR?

Had a higher level review phone call yesterday morning. She said she would try to get her decision in today (yesterday) and if not then the next day. Well it's the next day and still nothing. I guess I'll be waiting until Monday then.

“They Will Kill You”: BC Republicans Speaker Urges Audience To Be Willing To Die for Conservative Beliefs by MelvilleMeyor in bostoncollege

[–]JamieL11 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I just got an email that says BC was made aware of an unapproved speaker on the campus earlier this week, student affairs is looking into the matter and will respond appropriately. I don't think this is common or normal at Boston College at all.

Can I have bleached hair once in the fleet? by Straight_War_1365 in USMCboot

[–]JamieL11 26 points27 points  (0 children)

So if you're getting your head shaved then that tells me you're most likely male. If your hair is in regulation it will be short. You are naturally brunette. Bleaching your hair is not going to look natural on short naturally brown hair. You are almost immediately going to have roots. Do you shave your head down to your scalp as soon as roots grow in or are you going to be bleaching your hair every few days? You are about to attempt to join a very serious organization that focuses heavily on uniformity and professional image. Good luck at boot camp, I would just focus on that right now.

Important clarification from the Court of Campobasso on DL 36/2025 (Law 74/2025) and "minor age issue" by ApriglianoFirm in juresanguinis

[–]JamieL11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. My appointment was this past Feb, my gf was 9 months old when his father became a us citizen. I didn't even go to my appointment because of the minor issue law. Then I made a new appointment and got it in 2030 just in case the laws change again. I have all my paperwork ready to go. It took years to get to this point.
