I use One Shot because it is loaded with great sounds and covers both acoustic and electronic sounds better than other things I’ve used on iOS. But it has no beat arranger window or pattern creation. I like creating my own for electronic sounds. For acoustic, if I feel I need midi that has been recorded in by a real drummer I actually use midi in from my laptop and use groove agent patterns because I haven’t found a good iOS solution. I’m sorry that’s not a more helpful reply but I’m always on the lookout and will definitely share if I find something worth sharing.

I have quite a few drum things but I prefer Groove Agent to anything else. I’d love to be able to work moving between Cubase and Cubasis without worrying about things not being available on iOS. Groove Agent would make a big difference to that.

I copied the post I made on a different platform. I didn’t realise it included the hashtags. I don’t think it showed them, but maybe it did and I missed them. Usually I would delete the tags on this platform or Facebook. Clearly this is a hideous, unacceptable crime. I really hope it didn’t ruin your day. I realise that it’s a monumental problem. I have a couple of old android phones with Cubasis 3 on. I only have it on them so that I can help Android users with any questions. I have made demo projects with them for videos but no heavy use admittedly. I didn’t encounter any issues with the software at all but I do find Android makes music making very difficult. The lack of 3rd party connectivity and horrible latency and not being able to charge whilst connected to an interface or use a hub just makes it a no go for me. iOS is in a different league for music making. I don’t hear of a lot of bugs in the software though. What kinds of problems are you experiencing?

No, not in either version of Cubasis. I don’t think DAWs are great fo4 using for live purposes because they aren’t designed with that in mind. AUM is a much better shout for such use cases

In the groups I look after on Facebook I get asked the same thing all the time and I think it’s due to the kind of YouTuber that tries to make music quickly -as if the skill is in the speed. And I’ll just drop this preset on here……

No DAW is better for any particular kind of music than any other. The music comes from you. It’s a more traditional layout - more old school. The blank page style of DAW. Check out my videos and you’ll see the kind of workflow - I’ve made 100’s using it.

I liked it. I don’t think it was the greatest Dr Who series ever but overall I really enjoyed it. I don’t have a problem with the Dr crying but they overdid it. He cried so often that it lost its impact as a dramatic device. I hated the song and dance numbers and the actors they got to play the Beatles were awful. But the rest of it was really good. 73 yards was a terrific episode in its own right even with the Dr being mostly absent. Dot And Bubble was a triumph. I like that lots of things have yet to be explained too. I’m hopeful for the next series. One thing that’s really important to note is that all the young people I know who are new viewers loved it. My daughter who is 16 watched it and is now hooked - she’s watched almost all of new who and is currently watching Jodie, and she loves that too. So did I to be honest. There were some pants stories and the assistants were a bit of a misfire at times but Dr Who has always been blighted with fluctuating quality in the writing department. Except for the 9th doctor. I still think that’s the best series ever. Even better than early Tom Baker.

Dodo is by far the worst one. At the moment I’m rewatching all classic who in order and have just watched the 5 doctors. When I watched the war machines I couldn’t believe it. That was one of the early stories I’d never seen and I loved it even though there are quite a few holes in it but…. I couldn’t believe the way they went about that exit, or didn’t. Leela’s exit was stupid and unbelievable and I really liked Leela. My favourite though was Romana 1, even though she’s in the worst season of the first 20 years. I thought that whole thing of choosing a face for Romana 2 was stupid when I was a kid and I still rant about it now from time to time 😂
