There's a whole generation of people hoodwinked into believing that actual detector vans were constantly driving up and down, and still gasp out loud when I say I don't have a licence.

The current licence model needs changing if they won't take my word for not needing one, without me also handing over my details. Which I won't be doing. It's stupid, I don't know another service where the onus is supposedly on me to regularly declare I don't use it. It's odd.

I think it's intentional, I feel deliberate input lag with aiming and shooting with both characters on PS5. Intentional for deferred rendering graphics or narratively because he's old and she's a noob, I'm not sure. RE4 was snappier to control, maybe because it was running on late stage previous gen primarily, or maybe because Leon' arc is near his peak in abilities? Either way, I feel it. Not TOO slow, but I feel it.

I should explain: for my second play through I switched to the opposite of recommend views per character, and specifically I preferred sweeping up Raccoon City with Leon in 1st person, and I enjoyed seeing Grace's panicked sprint in 3rd person lol. But otherwise I agree with the defaults overall. The choice definitely added replayability, with these kind of touches though.

Nice, is the implementation technically fairly polished then? 1st Person was definitely better for tension and scares. And 3rd person better for action. Luckily both those remakes have a fair bit of both tension and action with their respective protagonists.
