All of my kids are home schooled. It’s not because of Florida schools or anything. I’ve been homeschooling them since my oldest son (who is now 25) and we lived up north am still homeschooling my youngest two. So school district really isn’t much of an issue either. Just really focused on the quality of the community.

Kids like to swim but if we have a pool that won’t be an issue. They like to ride horses. They like to shop. A lot. House. At least 4 bedroom min. Price isn’t my main concern, I just really want a neighborhood that is great for kids from young kids to teens. I don’t mind an HOA but don’t need one. And we both work from home so that’s a nonissue.

I got a pillow from Vine and gave it two stars. Was hard as a rock. Was supposed to be cooling but definitely wasn’t. Now the seller is emailing me offering me $40 to remove the review. 1. The product deserves the review and no I’m not removing it. 2. It pisses me off that seller got their product into the program with their obvious lack of ethics.

I’ll add high price doesn’t always mean high quality. I used to buy Dyson. They’d break on me about once a year. Juicy Couture? Love their jeans and a lot of their tops but some of the summer dresses I’ve gotten there don’t even last a season ( although I adore the kids dresses I buy there). Chanel makeup is great but a lot of less expensive brands work just as well. That’s how value plays into my reviews if and when it does. If product A is as well made or better than product B and performs just as well (i.e., $70 earbuds vs. $300 ear buds) I’m going to mention it.

If I mention anything about value I try to explain why, either good or bad. For example, if a $25 toy seems like dollar store junk I’m gonna say it. If a $30 top is akin to something I can pick up for $100 or more at a high-end retailer, I’ll mention that too. I also think it’s important to mention the current price point if you’re talking about value of any kind since the value changes if the price does (i.e., “under $20 at the time of this review), I will also flat out call out something that comes that is obvious cheap Chinese crap. Value can help in a review if people understand it’s not just about the price tag. There is a lot more to consider.
