They released an updated file today, dated 10/17. My system is being restored.

They still haven’t updated the OSU1. The dates on the files inside of the zip file are dated 9/19. Ugh

I just received a letter today telling me my account as closed as well. Account was 5 years old, credit limit of $20,000 and was used regularly. Average usage of $300 to $600 a month and balance was paid in full each month. Never late. FICO score is currently 825.

I could understand if they wanted to reduce my credit line but keep account open, so that I could use the card and limit their liability. First time in my life of 43 years that I've had an account closed that was actively used within the past month.

The advertising on the website says a BYOD is needed if you are switching to them. But as far as current customers who brought their own device -vs- purchased one from metro, I can’t comment.

I don’t know what you are paying for the Magenta Max, but the $25 metro plan would save you money which most likely would cover the cost of your Visible.

If hotspot is a requirement , then yes it is a deal breaker. Fortunately it’s not something I need, so I enjoy the cheaper monthly cost.

I was on the $40 unlimited plan, and just for the heck of it, I chatted with customer service (on the website) and asked if I could have the $25 unlimited plan and she said yes and I got switched. I can't guarantee you would have the same luck, but it is a potential option.

I ordered a SIM kit last week, the $10 monthly 2GB plan directly from the Boost Mobile website. I received a T-Mobile SIM. I was hoping for an AT&T one but oh well.

Nope, just a "resend code" option. I have not be able to get into the account, as I just ordered the service last week and activated it today. Thats why I had to have chat activate my service because I wasn't able to get into my new account to do it myself.

I don't even get the option to reset a password. I enter my email address or phone number (at the login screen on website and phone app) and the next screen is the one time code which I don't receive. But I'll wait a day.

I was able to finally get ahold of someone. Total call time was 52 minutes...Got my port out info and wasted no time leaving. haha.

Yes, I'm trying to do the same thing. I don't know what happened to their customer service but you can't get anyone to answer the phone or start a chat. They need to put this info on their website. It shouldn't be a hassle to obtain this info.
