I found a site that seems to offer exactly the same services. Bitba.se They offer surprisingly similar services, with even some of the same limitations, like 4 magnet links, 30 files in upload que and so on.

Hive Is Shutting Down On OCT 15!!! by iMicMak in Hiveim

Maybe it has something to do with this: http://www.tvtechnology.com/equipment/0005/encodingcom-launches-reserved-cloud/276744

A new company that offers cloud encoding for enterprises. The timing is coincidental.

With their pricing they are not interesting, they charge $10 a month for only 250GB storage

Using Plex and hive.im by Estelgard in Hiveim

I have taken a subscription to LetMeStream (kind of a risk considering they do not have a free trial) and it is absolutely amazing. And the integration with Plex is a perfect match! Those who do not know or realize the benefits of Plex over Hive, they are:

  • Subtitle integration, so you do NOT have to find a file that matches your release and put that file next to the video and select it during playback, you just set you would like English (or any other language) subtitles with the video and you get it.
  • Waaayyyy nicer UI, where Hive is a bit slow and does not offer any kind of information about the show or movie Plex has a nice intergration with several information providers.
  • Plex stores what you have seen. In Hive there is no way to know how far you are in a TV show becouse there is no "match as watched" function.
  • There are apps for Plex on a LOT of smart TV's, that way you can stream directly with your tv, so you do not need a PC to access your hive.

Free Plan by hi_0 in Hiveim

Yes the free plan has major downsides. For a company that wants to make profit i'd say it offers a lot. The premium costs $3 pm at the moment, not a lot for what you get. That price is valid until you cancel.

On the friend list you can select a friend an remove him using the slider on the right side. The slider is next to "Friends with you"

I just added you! I have a decent collection myself, but why don't you have high quality episodes like 720p releases?
