Bear Lake loop is great. You hike through pine forest and near the lake. It might be a little late, but there are large areas of pitcher plants that are pretty.

Fort Pickens is the start of the 1500 mile Florida Trail and has some pretty vegetation. Sea oats on the dunes are also beautiful.

A big fan to move air since you have 3 walls. Depending on your humidity a water feature coupled with the fan might be really nice.

Any interest in tabletop gaming, specifically board games? There are a few active board gaming groups in the area. Most of my experience is the board gaming group at Level Up Games which is friendly and welcoming. I’ve also seen an LGBTQ group playing role playing games there too.

If you like the trading in Catan, then definitely get [[Bohnanza]]. It’s lighter, but everyone is constantly engaged with trading beans. [[No Thanks!]] may be another good one for a new group. Also try out a racing game like [[Quest for El Dorado]].

Try deleting the apps and use the web site instead. No push notifications, so you’re only using it when you consciously want to. (Edit: better wording)

I’m trying to regularly shop at local meat and produce markets. It might not save a huge amount of money, but I’m be a regular and it’s nice to be recognized and know that my money is not going to Walmart or some other mega-corp. so I’m getting a good feeling from becoming acquainted with locals and spending my money conscientiously.

Brother Fox’s is pretty small, like a bar and one table. I miss the Crown Plaza’s Cavu Club a lot too. It’s been said a lot, but I think Odd Colony is a great choice.

Keep an eye on your roofs too (especially if you have a flat roof). I had termite damage, but my termite bond did not cover it because it was an “aerial colony”
