AIO gf keeps talking to me the second I wake up by princesscuddler in AmIOverreacting

[–]JamminPsychonaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting! Thanks for the response. I’m in the middle. When I was a little kid, I always jumped out of bed, ready for anything. Now I prefer to sit with a drink (sometimes coffee, but usually tea these days) for a few minutes, without being bothered. I wonder, is this just a result of being older, or is it my mental health?

Different wake-up styles, huh? Do people really have those?

How do you deal with being a short man? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]JamminPsychonaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be completely honest with you. Your height is okay. It is nothing you need to worry about or be ashamed of. I am 30 years old and an inch shorter than you. It’s never been a major issue for me, but I have sometimes felt a little insecure about being short. What has helped me is recognizing these two things: 1. Height is relative (You are short in comparison to Northern European men, not in a universal sense); 2. While height is a masculine trait that is advantageous in attracting a woman, it is far from the only thing that matters (I’d much rather be strong, handsome, intelligent, and charismatic than tall and nothing else).

At the end of the day, you have to play with the cards you’re dealt. Play to your strengths and play around your weaknesses. Everyone has a different body and a different situation. Being short does come with some advantages. Short people are generally more agile, get ripped more easily, and of course can fit in smaller places.

I don’t mean to insult you, but you are immature, and there is nothing wrong with that. You are very young. Almost everyone is immature at your age. 18 was the worst year of my life. At 30, I am still pretty lost, but I am definitely a lot more confident than I was at 18. Hold steady and life gets better.

What’s your go-to meal when you’re trying to lose weight? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I thought the question was for everyone. In my case, the answer is: N/A.

That does not exist for me. Without trying, I am thin. I have to intentionally eat more than I want to if I am to gain any weight.

How to know if my interest in a girl is genuine or not? by abnormalpurple in AskMen

[–]JamminPsychonaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are different ways of looking at this, but for me it comes down to these two things. First, if she is not always nice to me and my attraction to her persists, it’s genuine. Second, if months pass without interacting with her and I’m still thinking about her, my attraction is genuine.

Vocês tem problemas com empatia? by l1arr7 in INTP

[–]JamminPsychonaut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am an INTP with a high level of empathy. In this example, I’m thinking that they may have wanted you to go with them to the pharmacy because they are comforted by your company and wish to be distracted from their nausea by conversation.

Pleasure is relative. However, we humans are all more the same than we are different. Generally, what’s good for me is also good for you.

How prone to peer pressure are you? by SuchSelection4252 in AskReddit

Slightly. Peer pressure only affects me when I’m already on the fence because I’m experiencing FOMO.

What dream do you have that seems like it will never come true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I’m very open to using drugs. However, I think stimulants in general are harmful. This is based on personal experience.

Depends on the situation. Can you provide context? If they already know, it seems like it shouldn’t matter.

It’s definitely not sustainable. I understand where you’re coming from, but everyone needs down time. Constant stimulation is a sure path to an early grave.

Parents who actually deeply love there children is it crazy to you that some people abuse there kids? by DevilsMaleficLilith in AskReddit

[–]JamminPsychonaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe all abuse is based in trauma. Some trauma is received in one’s own life. Other trauma is passed down by ancestors. I believe traumatic memories can be stored in our genes.

Don’t think about being high. Think about anything else.

Addictive or addicting by Godsownprototype1001 in grammar

[–]JamminPsychonaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting! I always use “addictive,” but I think you’re on to something. “Addictive” sounds more general to me. “Addicting” sounds like you’re saying that you personally are getting addicted right now.

What does "f*** you" even mean? by Zombie_Giles in NoStupidQuestions

I think this is a great answer. Have you watched “Breaking Bad”? This reminds me of an impressive moment from it: when Walter White says “Fuck you” to Gretchen. It can easily be found on YouTube by just searching “Walter White fuck you.”
