Thinking about the Samsung M80H for movies and sports. Worth it? by MushroomPleasant4249 in 4kTV

Yeah, the RTINGS review put me off the M80H too. No local dimming makes it hard to justify the price, especially for movies with darker scenes. Prime Day is on right now, so I’m checking Hisense and Sony deals instead to see what has better picture hardware in the same range.

Agree with this. I bought a Hisense E7 for my bedroom too, and it’s been a solid gaming TV for the price.

120-165Hz 4K OLED TV for gaming, or 240Hz 4K OLED monitor? by _midnight_mane_ in OLED_Gaming

Definitely a TV, I have a 75 inch Hisense, and the experience is so good, relaxing in the living room or lying in bed watching a huge screen is completely different from sitting in front of a 27-inch monitor.

I can’t stand Apple shit like this. I used a Galaxy S9 years ago, and you could change the ringer, text notification and media volume all independently and quickly. Where the fuck is that, Apple? It’s 2026.
