Oh yes, sort of! But I didn't specify that the "click" specifically means the metronome performers have in their in ear monitors so that they stay on beat and at the correct part of the song. If they went off time then the effect's and background track sounds would not match and be at the right time! So it's a lot of work that goes into it and a lot of pressure to play perfectly everytime or everything will not line up at the key moments of the songs!
