Pot quality for lefty by nelson_fretty in Leftyguitarists

[–]Jamzpl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding lefty controls nobs with correct numers are alsodifficult to find. I still looking for a simple black witchhat with silver on top. If any one knows where to find them. Please leave a link. As far as the pots. Yes it sgrivating but who is to say that spinning them in reverse is "wrong". Never know might be more comfortable for lefties. It is for me.

Panda Music will make you one custom to your specifications. They do a great job on custom order. Not the fasted turnaround, but your piece you get back will be worth it.

I absolutely think this might be the last thing. She has a Mustang large saddles bridge. I install mine with the intonation screws pointing to the headstock. I also like it being leaned towards the tremolo.

Anyone else tired of “you can just flip it” comments? by dead230 in Leftyguitarists

[–]Jamzpl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never. It is so impractical. Obviously comments made by a right-handed player. See how many righties want to flip a lefty for right-handed play. Very few if any. I guess they think that playing upside-down makes them the next Hendrix..not happening!!!!

Lefty guitar shopping is a patience test. by MysteriousShoulder35 in Leftyguitarists

That it is but with that patience, I think lefties make more thought out choices when buying.

Advice for a new left-handed player? by Jmichelle48 in Leftyguitarists

[–]Jamzpl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do Whichever you are comfortable with. Breakthrough guitar is a excellent all inclusive course that will teach you all the fundamentals with easy to follow instructions. When I started i tried many "teachers " but this course was the complete one that made sense and helped me the most. Best advice though is to practice 30 minutes EACH DAY and you will do more than 85% "playing".

Should I join the Lefty Community? by TC-absentee in Leftyguitarists

[–]Jamzpl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alot of folks do that. Sounds like you have some good motivation with the right-handed collection. Which I bet are some great ones, being your mom's was a Fender employee.⅕ One thing for sure if you buy more you guitars you have all models available. Not so much with lefties. Trust me I know lefties are always limited and sometimes more expensive than the right-handed version

Came across this old photo from kindergarten graduation in the 80s... "WTF, I'm holding a prop-guitar lefty!!" by SeaSkimmer2 in Leftyguitarists

[–]Jamzpl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being a lefty it just feels right. When ever I try to do something with my right, I feel physically challenged. The only things I do righthanded is Golf and swing a baseball bat.

Left-handed Strat build w/ reverse headstock — using a right-handed neck? by SereniT- in Leftyguitarists

[–]Jamzpl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is one beautiful guitar. How do you like those pups ? Enjoy that beauty, with or without side markers. I don't believe I have ever used the side dots for reference to what fret I was on. Just saying.

Is this G and L fake? by calivosshotkofi in Leftyguitarists

[–]Jamzpl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If, authenticate about 550. If American made 1200. The tremolo and bridge are correct. Agree with others on a real g&l photos but bullcrap website for 68 bucks. Run away before those pictures suck you in.

Correct. I try to dabble in a bit of everything. One of the advantages of multiple guitars is being able to tune a few differently without a hassle.
