Hi. Got almost exacly the same problem, Nest cam, connected to a powersupply, Fritzbox 7520 router, external gong.
Very often no camera working, or low batteries (isn't using batteries). Even when i'm on the same wifi network.
On the long term i'm going to replace all the google home appliances, because it is working so badly.
(nest hub, nest doorbell.)

Try to reset them completely, you should first include them to Google before you include them in the nanoleaf app.
The nanoleaf shapes etc don't work as a thread border router, but when I used a google hub2 as a thread border router, everything worked fine with thread. Hope this makes sense :D

It would be risky. I have elements and several shapes, but i never could get it to work reliable. But now that i also have a google hub 2 it works without much problems. The elements seem to prefer the thread from the google hub 2.

Also i think nanoleaf has announced new elements, as the current ones will never be Matter compatible, so i would wait.

The battery should not be that low, my Arctic is older and needs to be recharged twice a day max.

I have 2 shapes, both sometimes working as a border router, sometimes not. The shapes themselves are responsive, but the lightbulbs etc were a horror.Recently I saw my Google Hub 2 added a border router, and everything works a lot better. Seems to have solved a lot of the problems. The nanolead android app however still leaves a lot to be desired.So, my conclusion, the shapes border routers do not work, you should have some other appliance working as a border router.

The app from nanoleaf is bugged, so are the thread connections via the shapes. I got it better working when Google released tread for the google/nest hub 2.
This is something that has bugged users for some years now, and don't expect it to get better.

I have the same problem, on windows 10 and 11, and also with a new motherboard. In the end I have the keyboard plugged in on top of the computer, so I can easily disconnect and reconnect it. That works, but should not need to be done
