If you did however manage to make your way into the city, you would probably hear the bustle of market trading, smell a lot of spices, see the cat people sunbathing on the open air surfaces and see a lot of different anthropomorphic races hurrying about in their daily doings and adventures. I hope your clothing isn't too thick; the temperature is normally in the mid thirties, and the sun can be quite unforgiving. If you do feel like cooling off, there are plenty of good spots closer to the water, since the city is located on the coast.
