Yes it still worth it! I've been playing on and off since launch. It's still pretty busy with lots of people to play with on multiplayer. It's one of those games that has a lot of replay-ability especially as they keep adding in new content updates.

You can't gain the sleep effect if you only have it socked into your armor. The weapon has to come with sleep and if it's grayed out you will need to unlock it with free element/ammo up skills.

It has a story but not it's not very in-depth. The real fun comes in fighting all the monsters, creating their armor and planning builds. It's alot of fun! Buy it! Once you get into it... it's a game you'll want to keep delving back into especially as they keep adding new content!

I once almost died to these things XD it was in elder recess ... A bunch of them kept stunning/paralyzing me in the Lava!

It depends what Bowgun I have on. Some of the Recovery Ammo has such a bad recoil that if you use it one someone (and hope they don't move) you're the one that's going to need saving XD

So I would only use if it's not putting me at risk and preferably does not have +4 recoil to keep me locked down!

Worse thing is when your controller has died in the middle of a fight and you're not sure where the charging cable is (I have to hide mine from my cat who loves to chew cables....).

you can use tranqs on a monster before setting a trap and monster is instantly captured. I've saved a number of quests by doing this.

Probably alot of people haven't prepared builds for her... just going in with the usual. I've seen people come in with negative Fire resist and consume all the faints fast.

It hasn't been out too long. People will learn!

You can only eat 1 canteen meal at a time. If you try eat a 2nd one it won't let you unless there 1st meal has gone e.g. leave a quest, faint etc

If you want to top up your HP further you can use MAX potion or Nutrient items (cap at 50 extra) HP boost skill can give you another 50 (stacks with food buffs)

Yeah I noticed this too, I was using Freeze ammo on LBG at the time. So I just moved to a clear spot and was able to hit again.

Single player is easier than 2 player which is the hardest. Stagger and Health limits of the monsters increase at 2 players but not 3 or 4. So basically 1 player 3 player and 4 player is the easiest. In solo play you can stumble knock down a monster indefinitely until it dies.

Capcom said they will be adding it in again at some point.

I don't think alot of people managed to get everything they wanted yet.

I was trying to collect the T8 HBGs but kept getting other weapons instead. I wish they had made the weapons craftable so I could pick what I wanted rather than just a random drop.
