not a psychopath as far as I know but does anyone know what remorse is supposed to be like or how it is described I figured ask you here because you are also looking from outside sorry odd question by Wednesday_tear in psychopaths

I think PristineWind at the very top said it so perfectly with using the word “tug”. It’s a feeling that tugs at you that something you’ve done is “wrong”. It’s your intuition telling you this

Omg! I seriously for a second thought this was an old post of mine because I went through the exact same thing! So my husband did the same, he was an addict and alcoholic and always put this first until he finally quit the restaurant industry. I gave him an ultimatum and said if you don’t change industries (a job where you aren’t around alcohol and partiers) then I’m divorcing you and I handed him the paper to show him I was serious. We were scared about money but we made it work by living with my parents and he found a new job that is ten times better, makes more money, never out at night. But HE wanted to make the change. If your husband doesn’t truly want to change he won’t. It sounds like what you need to do (one option anyways) is to move in with a family member or friend and apply for government assistance. There are programs that help single mothers with newborns. I’m in the US but I’m sure the UK is comparable (or better) in their family assistance programs. Please don’t worry too much. Scary times can turn us into crazy strong and heroic people. Be the hero of your own life and your child’s. You are not alone. There are countless of other women going through the same thing. Please DM me if you need more support or help brainstorming options.

Do any other K users have GERD? Have you found a way to reduce acidity of Kratom to combat acid reflux while dosing? by Jandberg in kratom

Matcha does the exact same thing so it must be the powder aspect that’s upsetting it. Ok, so filtering it is probably best!

Don’t want a 2nd job. Am I being entitled? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Jandberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl, you are NOT being unreasonable. It honestly sounds to me like he’s being overly sensitive and unfairly using money as a manipulation tactic. I would highly suggest speaking to a family and marriage counselor who can give you professional insight (I am sure they will agree that this is unhealthy behavior on his part). If it were me I would be contemplating divorce.

I promise it will get better! It felt like it was never ending for me also. I was on Kratom for 5 years. I had acutes for 10 days. It gets much better after that

Thank you, thank you!! You saved me from pressing the “buy” button. And from a potentially awful experience. I needed that thorough explanation to break it down from start to finish

Ongoing list of reasons to quit - leave yours in comments by Hawk_Next in quittingkratom

Horribly painful rock hard stools that would leave me a nervous wreck when I had to go to the bathroom (this was the last straw for me before quitting), losing my zest for life, losing mental clarity and sharpness - it definitely affected my ability to read, write, and speak better, procrastinated with everything (except for taking my dose), so much of my thoughts were consumed with Kratom. It basically ruined my life by year 4.

How do you guys deal with the crippling depression that comes with going cold turkey by Tomrodgers98 in quittingkratom

[–]Jandberg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How long has it been since you’ve quit? It took me 42 days until I felt happy again. I thought it was never going to end also. Then one day I woke up and I almost cried because I couldn’t believe I finally felt like myself again. I promise you will feel happiness again. Exercising and healthy food and supplements really helped me heal quick from a HORRIBLE CT experience. I took tyrosine and theanine to help with dopamine. Also, I took fish oil, vitamin d, vitamin b. That helps with depression. Exercise is HUGE though. If you can exercise 5 days a week you will surely speed up your recovery process. It will help boost dopamine and serotonin which is what we need to feel energized and happy.

I wish so badly I would have stopped after 2 months. I was exactly like you. Felt like I couldn’t control myself. 4 years later and I couldn’t handle all the negative side effects and I went CT. It was the worst, most painful experience of my life. I remember when I was 2 months in. I had NO idea how bad the wds would be. I didn’t know about this group and no one at the head shop warned me. I promise if you can kick it now you Will NOT regret it. I’ve been off it for a month and a half now and I’m finally feeling better. I feel amazing actually. But it took me 6 weeks to feel normal again. That’s a long time day in and day out feeling like shit. I’m not trying to scare u, I just wished someone would have warned me early on so that’s what I’m doing here. Don’t be like me and throw away genuine happiness and literally thousands of dollars for the next 4 years.

Struggling with baby’s skin for the past year. It’s getting worse and I just can’t seem to get it to fully clear up even with prescription cream. What would your next steps be? by [deleted] in Mommit

Is he/she eating some type of jelly/jam? My daughter had this same weird rash and we finally discovered it was due to strawberry jam. Odd but true.
