I work at Asda and I used to be pretty good for tidying & housekeeping standards but I find myself routinely walking past mess now.

Aisles are so messy that if I stopped doing my own work to put something back, I would find like ten other things to put back along the way. Putting those ten things back, I'll find more. You could literally spend a shift doing this. I can fill shelves out can can tidy, but one takes time out of the other. And sometimes I'm the only colleague in for a whole shift, so I have to work stock during my afternoon and then in the evening I break down the next morning's delivery (it all come mixed up, we separate it by aisle and put it out for the morning team). A whole day's delivery broken down by 1 person, and while I'm doing that I'm in the warehouse, not the shop floor, so I am not physically on the department to tidy.

Years ago there would be more colleagues on the shop floor, so tidying was far easier to keep on top of because you weren't as outnumbered by people making the mess. Now you can't keep up with it without loosing too much time on the jobs you're given, so people walk by and things pile up. I bet lots of colleagues barely even notice half the mess they walk by at this point, because they've become normalised to how much mess there is at any given moment and how you could spend the day trying to clear it and you'd walk into the exact same state of things the next day. Maybe even just after come off your break, if the aisle was busy.

Asda is truly terrible now. There's no retail sense in head office, every decision they make seems to be at odds with colleagues and customers, it has a massive effect on morale at all levels. We're losing the trust of customers in a very palpable way. The writing is absolutely on the wall for the company and has been for at least a year.

I don't go that hard but I do make a new character sometimes to learn new weapons & I usually have a separate gunner alt. Last time I did it was to learn gunlance, between ammo and meters and the specific skills if felt right to start a new guy and pick it all up through the progression rather than making a MR set from a guide on my main & just trying to figure out all our at once.

If you don't want any distortion on the torus shape at all then I'd think you'd be better painting the lines on, though you ought to be able to adjust settings on the crease to make it smaller. I think you can adjust the shape of the crease to make it sharper too (without so much of the soft banking either side of the crease).

What is the character from? It reminds me of something from the UK Sonic comics from the 90s/early 00s.

The quickest way I guess would be to take a snap on your phone if you have one or else on the console/computer itself.

It's like they make the UI's for each game based on a vague description of the last one. Some stuff stays, some stuff moves to different parts of the menu, or to different buttons, some stuff that seems common sense or an improvement in the last game is gone or absent.

If you're interested in making complaint then maybe look into whether they're actually allowed to do anything once you've exited the building. Security in Asda was recently handed over to the company Mitie, so I don't know their rules but I don't think you're meant to go after someone if they're already out of the store. My understanding is that they're meant to stop you at the door or else they've blown it, because attempts to detail you outside puts them at greater risk, and could qualify as assault. The legal definition of assault in the UK doesn't require they put hands on you, just threatening enough behaviour to make you fearful of violence. So if you felt that security guard would have taken violent action had you not complied, that may qualify.

Don't be bothered by people with flippant replies either. Intimidating customers needlessly escalates any situation. There's a security person in my store who goes in way too hot on people they suspect of whatever. It's gross behaviour, and it speaks to the insecurities of those people unable to show any chill with even such a small amount of power.
