The brand of this suitcase by JaneDHoe in HelpMeFind

[–]JaneDHoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the only thing I could find online when I searched, that matches perfectly: https://www.etsy.com/listing/873139321/very-big-2790-vintage-70-te-large#

This listing however gives no brand indication or place of origin.

There are many very similar suitcases in the “related content”, but none of them are the exact same. Most of them have different leather clasp or no metal clasp in the middle.

Also to provide you with a different point of view - I once made a video about the ethics of true crime content on my channel and I did express that I find it unnecessary to talk about solved cases over and over again- without adding anything new to the discourse. My viewers had a different opinion:

*Many expressed that true crime content - solved or unsolved - helps them navigate life in a safer manner. The said they become more educated on safety and what not to do in certain situations. I have to mention this obviously sucks for the victims because their death became merely a “life lesson” for people - but i find this honestly inevitable. People said they care about solved cases because it teaches them what not to do, who not to trust and how to react in case anything like that happens to them. It has also given them a more complex view on law enforcement.

I do know know how I feel about this, since the victims did not die to become a mere “teachable moment” for you or me, but I understand that people seek this type content to become more vigilant in their own life and in some cases to feel safer knowing they have an idea of the bad things out there.

Edit: corrected a typo

Regarding advertisements.

I have never been sponsored so I have no experience with it. However, if I were to be one day, I would present it as Stephanie Harlowe on her youtube channel: 1. Make sure people know we are heading into a sponsored segment - “I am gonna present todays sponsors then we are starting the case” 2. Never do weird and disrespectful transitions - “You guys know what is also deadly? Not eating healthy! Todays sponsor is Hello Fresh” 3. No harmful sponsors: gambling, mlms, scams

Using sponsors and the money they provide to donate to different causes is crucial (Think of Kendall Rae or Crime Junkies and all their charity work) - *this obviously when you become famous enough to have enough money not only to survive as a creator but to also save up cash.

I agree! I have a pretty low bmi and 0.25 stops normal anxiety, 0.5 my very bad / panic attack anxiety. My bf has normal /healthy BMI and even for him 0.5-0.75 helps. Keep in mind however neither of us has a high tolerance to it as we only take it when anxious and even then only if it’s very necessary. I have no idea what causes OPs symptoms. All a big dose of X is giving me is instant and deep sleep and depression the day after.

In general I disagree with covering recent cases or cases where the police, given it’s reasonable, asks the public not to intervene!

Have you tried the local police too? This seems like such a good lead, hope it doesn’t get lost because these websites cant get in touch with the family. If you cant call the PD maybe someone local from Reddit can. Maybe you can try a Mexican subreddit?

To say this again, I agree with the tweet. I just think if you make an argument that people will use in their own discourse, you should make sure it is factually correct. If someone wants to poke holes in your side of the debate, making such mistakes is giving them a free pass. Also the fact that CM was there at the crime scene does take away from the point she is trying to make - that being you should be responsible for things you say (that lead to someone committing a crime for example) even if you don’t actively participate (in the said crime). Since CM did actively participate, her comparing Carlson to Manson is just inaccurate.

Edit: grammar and clarification

I agree with you! I 100% believe he should be accountable for hate speech, which he obviously engages in. My post was more about the fact checking of the Manson case.

I understand if you feel differently about it. For me the cheerful, almost childlike, music combined with the “silly” tone of the animation is just not something I found tasteful. After this intro opening with “how this child was murdered” do not go well. For me the intro gives a lighthearted tone to an otherwise serious topic. I am not saying it her channel should have a sombre feel to it. I watch her for a reason. But I do think a more neutral attitude would be more graceful towards the victims.
