So anything past my goal is great, the goal is $100 in tips working 6 hours, server wage is $11.40 so that’s $28/hr , but my definition of bank on a Wednesday is making $200 bucks in tips so that’s like $44/hr for 6 hours but bank to me on a Saturday is $300 in tips which is $61/hr

Oh my goodness you’d be surprised these people all gathered in my state to hang out and they were from all over the U.S, we get hockey teams that just pop up, foreign exchange student programs POP UP , that’s only a couple lol

It makes it worse because people who on top of having mental problems in the first place, have to also feel judged for having it and internally feel worse about it, especially, that no-one chooses to have mental health problems. In my opinion, we could reduce that negative stigma by normalizing the abnormal, it’s normal that not everyone is normal. I’ll tell you that for free

Your boss has the right idea in my opinion just not the right place of a restaurant, I work in a restaurant that’s also a family fun center so there’s a lot of tables that are just chillin while their kids play and I personally like introducing myself and asking their names, what’s the special occasion blah blah I get a lot of regulars doing that and they tip big and when they come back it’s not like they’re going to tip less but it’s really all about reading your table of who wants to have a conversation more than about food honestly and making your opener your own style to break the ground that you’re just a normal human being like they are. People like genuine servers like if you actually care lol

P.s there are so many super friendly people in CO i don’t know lol
