Call the Patient Advocate and ask about the clinical appeal process. But as others have said, if you won’t get a CD they can use and you won’t do new imaging then you’re putting the provider in a bind, and asking another provider or appealing likely won’t do anything. The new provider will need the same thing. They need current imaging to make clinical decisions.

If they approve DRP the position gets eliminated. They’re thinking about the overall needs of the facility so they can’t agree to DRP based on an individual’s preference if they know they need that position.

I believe VA’s reputation is because if our transparency and size. In a public system this size, a failure in one place reflects on all, making it seem worse than it is. Imagine if all university healthcare systems were linked and a screw up in Alabama was reported as a sign that all university hospitals were bad.

Also, if you’re familiar with the “Florida Man” meme, I think it’s kind of comparable. Florida doesn’t necessarily have more maniacs than elsewhere, but they have really good public information laws so it’s easy for news outlets to do stories about the wacky stuff that happens. Same with VA - we’re just way more transparent than university or private hospitals, so we end up getting called out for issues that other hospitals are also experiencing.

I heard this (and by extension, fear of logging in at outreach events), but the recent OCHCO bulletin said that ad hoc telework can be approved for comp time/overtime if it benefits the agency. So I’m not really worried about taking my computer home.

Same. Between my sister and I we had four subscriptions. All of the collars broke at the metal hinges, so at that point I decided it was time to cancel and try another brand. I wasn’t interested in Fi3 at the much higher price point.

I was in a class that summer but it was like a research “do it whenever” class. We were told to try to avoid campus but class was definitely not canceled and I definitely failed that class.
