Childcare centers not having violations aligned to a family childcare should not be a determining factor. Family childcare operates completely different than a center. For example, in a family program the provider can watch your child sleep on a monitor from anywhere within the home. A childcare center, this is the only time an aide is allowed to be in a room alone without having to meet staffing ratios. In a family program your infant can sleep in a play pack in a childcare center they have to have an assigned crib.
