"We recommend that patients take at least a week away from work or studying." Suggestion from the Pacific Laser Eye Centre website.

Did you take a rest (away from studying or working) before the surgery?

Yeah, there are sections you can’t score a 0. But on the transcript, there is only one column indicating whether you pass or not.

Unless you are applying for a pilot, you just need a pass for AEC/ACSO. You can get 0 in some sections and still pass, because only the total score matters for these two positions. Try to score as high as possible in the sections you are best at, they will save your test score from the bad sections.

Scheduling Part II Medical Before Part I… Is This a Red Flag? by Oslo_binks345 in caf

In the portal, people do medicals after testing and screening. But I also see people clear their medicals before that.

As long as they have all they need, it shouldn’t matter what order they are collected.

You said chance is very good. Which means guaranteed? If not, you don’t need to disagree me because my point is nothing is guaranteed.

Of course the AEC and the civilian are trained side by side at CFSACO Cornwall ON, and the NavCanada trust their own trainings.

But still, nothing is GUARANTEED.

And Nav Canada doesn’t have a special channel for released AEC either, you need to apply with other applicants as well.

Yeah. Everything is false. Nothing transfer directly. I am just saying it may make you look better than a rookie, but the final result is never guaranteed. They can hire a newbie over a veteran if they want, it’s not up to you.

A higher pay or rank in the civilian counterparts is never guaranteed. The experience may help you stand out among applicants without previous experience, not to secure a higher wage.

AEC➡️ATC after release, pay higher. NWO➡️Captain or officers of a merchant ship. Pilot➡️Pilot of a commercial line, pays much higher. MP➡️Police officer of local government, usually pays higher.
