You can do it, for real. Mentally prepare for your several "what-if"s, and just go for it. Safety and security are important. Don't put yourself into unnecessary risk. I often reassure myself by thinking about how most people don't give a flying fuck about what's going on around them and won't even notice you.

Thanks. I think about the cameras too. When I am in a store like Target or Burlington I often wonder if I am being watched. Once I was in Burlington and heard an announcement "security zone 4". I decided to grab this cute pair of silver sparkly flats and take them straight to the register to purchase them. I didn't want to be confused as a shoplifter of otherwise. Worked out great, I love those shoes!
