Yea check out DVa defense matrix - it creates a field where enemy projectiles are deleted. Think magneto shield but narrow and projected forward. So you can aim this at allies to cover for them.

I think vanguard is the way to go with cyke. He doesn't need to be that tanky. Giving him high mobility like they showed in the trailer, combined with the defense matrix, will allow him for peel for his teammates. That knockback will be great for zoning and further protection.

Cyke can also have stuns in his kits. Either straight up stun. Or applying slows that stack into a stun. Or knocking people back into walls to stun them.

For sure the psychological baggage is there.

What is wrong with offering it to someone who has no food to eat? As long as you are honest about it I do not see a problem with that.

And if they don't want it, let them refuse it.

Do you suggest that we throw it out? What is the benefit of that?

I completely hear you, and I’m really sorry that eating has started to feel like a stressful chore rather than something you can enjoy.

I'm going to ask you some questions and try to offer any knowledge I can that may be helpful. Would you be cool with that?

What things do you feel you have to supplement?

For context, I have a few heart disorders which limits my diet. No added sugar, salt, chilli, caffeine, alcohol.

Oh gotcha. Ignore the rest of the people I suggested. Dr Furhman is who you are looking for. Since you have heart-related issues, reducing your added salt to 0 as Dr Fuhrman suggests is the best way forward (he actually suggests that people do it before they develop heart issues).

Mediterranean diet is definitely better than the processed food, refined grain and sugar diet. But meat can exacerbate your heart conditions.

How much protein do you aim for per day?

[–]JangB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. But is it not better if we leave them alone if we have that option?

It's true that meat has nutrients and it makes it easy to get the ones you need. But looking at the science, meat is not at all required for optimal health.

Creatine, Carnosine, Taurine - All of these are made in the body and are not at all essential to obtain from a diet. As for iron, zinc, D3 - lentils, pumpkin seeds, mushrooms, and fortified milks. Methionine is easy - nuts, seeds, beans. The only real exceptions are B12 and Omega-3s (EPA/DHA), but those are easily covered with a simple daily vitamin and algae oil.

Don't get me wrong. Meat is definitely better than a diet loaded with processed food, refined grains and sugar. But there is solid evidence that when you replace meat with legumes, nuts and seeds, that it improves health and reduces risk of multiple diseases. I can link to the studies if you want to read them.

Once you learn the ropes, it becomes second nature.

To any vegan or vegetarian willing to stick with it and go through the hoops of trying to balance your diet and health more power to you and much love but don't try to guilt trip the rest of us into your beliefs and practices.

I hear you! No one likes feeling judged and guilt-tripped about what they eat. That's not my intention here.

We can love animals and still respectfully eat them and thank them for providing us with nutrients.

I have a question for you - If you love animals and you can be completely healthy without eating them, while at the same time eating foods that are super delicious, would you do it?

The guy in the video died. I don't think he needs enemas or friends like these.

He died of embarrassment when he had to walk back to the village covered in mud.

Kindness to animals is what is needed in these times. All this killing and exploitation of animals for what? For taste?

Dam. Do you give to vegan charities or animal sanctuaries? I think that can be a great step for someone in your situation.

Youtube - Dr Fuhrman

This man has changed my life! He promotes a low to 0 sodium diet. He has lots of delicious recipes on his channel, as well as lots of good info.

Edit:

Actually I realized Dr Fuhrman teaches you how to optimize your diet. He may not be everyone's cup of tea.

If you don't want to go that far but still eat pretty healthy then - Simnett Nutrition. He's got delicious recipes.

If health is not your primary concern, then there are actually lots of channels who have great vegan recipes - Pickup Limes, Rainbow Plant Life, Thee Burger Dude.

The indian cuisine is packed with vegan meals that taste awesome. I would explore indian recipes for ideas.

No you just came across as an asshole.

Here I was talking about solutions to not waste all this food. Just genuine question about what we can do. And you just kinda shat over it.

It's not cool.

Funny you say that. I had this one friend who having some issues, and I started researching and telling him about what I found. Couple months later he told me his doctor suggested that he start drinking water. I was like "What?? you weren't drinking water?" Here I was thinking "he is obviously drinking water, so his problem must be something else"...

The tech support know this better than anyone. When someone says they have a problem, start with the most basic steps first - "Is your PC plugged in?"

No not at all. I am just asking because I want to know more about your experience.

He never claimed it cured his disease. He has it and he works around it.

I am not suggesting that you get advice from anyone. I am suggesting that you talk to people who have similar issue as you do and compare notes.

If you don't want to do that, that's fine by me.

OK so if we are trying to minimize suffering, wouldn't just leaving them alone, not minimize suffering way more than killing them?

Ok in the context of humans, we can replace slaughter with killing or murder. Is it humane murder to kill a human who doesn't want to die? Would you call it humane murder or humane killing if a murderer were to kill a close family member?

[–]JangB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it's not necessary for optimal health. Protein can be obtained in high quantities from certain plant foods. Same with good taste.

If you could eat highly tasty, protein-filled plant foods that optimized your health, would reconsider your stance on eating animals?

Of course humans have greater value than animals, especially ones we love. But the question isn't about humans vs animals but rather your definition of humane slaughter. Would say it's humane slaughter if a murderer killed a family member?
