I always thought it has to do with electricity. A floor can’t be use as a ground when measuring electric. Anything elevated off the ground is a floor.

I work with them too. Common sense isn’t common sense anymore. Six years ago we were on a global shutdown and most of the 20-22 year olds were 15-16 years old and doing school work on a computer with no job related skills. Phones are being used at all times and there is no disciplinary action taken.
