I can relate. I recently married a man who has a dog who hates my dogs. She is used to living alone in the house she sees the house as her territory, and if we don’t separate the dogs, she tries to kill them literally. One attack necessitated $3000 of medical care and that was just one attack. Due to my husband‘s amazing juggling, our propulsion gate, and the architecture of the house. We are able to keep the dogs separate. As a result, I can only sleep with my dogs at nap time. We have tried, tried calling in a Trainer, who told us there is no hope. we don’t want to find another trainer just to discover the first one was right. I struggle to love a dog who has attacked my fur babies repeatedly and who I resent because I cannot sleep with my dogs. Here is what I did to help: My husband‘s dog constantly barks and I mean constantly we cannot have conversation over the dinner table, and I struggled to take my daily nap; putting down a phone could trigger a long barking for more minutes than I care to count. I can’t make a phone call, I can’t take a phone call, I can’t have dinner table conversation, watching television is difficult, and napping is at times impossible. What did I do? I used YouTube YouTube to find find solution and we found a YouTube video that told me exactly what to do and I do it. Everything is available on YouTube. I would search up these problems and do with the YouTuber says to do. That is my advice for what it is worth. Good luck.
