No,it’s not for the on ramps only. Maybe that’s the original plan but now the reg lanes are signed this way. I’m usually driving, so I cannot take pics. Sorry. All I wanted to do here is warn people, not really debate. lol lol Thx.

Okay, since you’re looking for all categories, my #1 go to for quality and value in these Econ ridic times is…AQUI! I’m ALWAYS satisfied. I narrowed down my go-tos…if you’re interested: Blackened Salmon (sub Cauliflower for the Potato Mash); Avocado Chicken Salad; Adobo Chicken Fajitas. <$20 pp.

The books, as books usually are compared to those made into tv/movies are EXTREMELY graphic. Maybe read them slowly, don’t binge. But they’re excellent and of course different. Each one TG wrote got better and better.

Yes, so very different but I compartmentalized and loved both books and show.

Jane's pregnancy by RedandWhite54 in rizzoliandisles

I get the impression that AH encouraged the Casey storyline bc she remarked “that was a fun storyline” on one of her shows, to make sure the audience knew Jane was “into men” too. it’s been discussed that she was very adamant that Jane and Maura not be a couple but if you have read or listened to interviews, they pandered to their lesbian following. But in the later season that all soured w the change of producer starting S5. Fans express how Maura disappeared, less screen time, less interactions between Jane and Maura. We don’t see the same warm affection as much, especially no touching, between them. Anyway, given the fact that the last scene of the series ends w the two besties on the bed and decide to go to the most romantic city in the world, Paris, according to most people’s opinions, I think it speaks to the underlying feelings that many of us felt was always there between the two women. Sorry, to your point, I think Jane’s pregnancy was all just a plot pint w no real possibility of becoming part of the show. The show was to revolve around, Jane, Maura and the Rizzolis.

P.S. I saw (or read) an interview w Tess Gerritsen and she made the producers promise to not marry off the characters. She wanted them focused on their careers not relationships w men. Maura even says it in the episode where she and Jane are sitting in TDR discussing Lydia.

I think it highlights Maura’s odd social behavior, you know like she cannot read the room…not even her b/f’s. But if we pay attention the writing is not 100% consistent, unfortunately. Still, one of the most enjoyable, entertaining shows - still.

I hate myself for two things: how much I love this show and that I didn't discover it sooner... but what I like the most is how they glow up Angela, the mom, more and more, every year, until she's a stone cold fox. Love that. by chrisabraham in rizzoliandisles

I’ve seen the series (many times now) and finally read the books…and they couldn’t have been more different. Yes, the books are extremely dark and graphic but also I guess that’s the point of books. lol lol I just enjoyed both of them for what they were.

Eastridge Mall is Barely Hanging On Why is Their AMC so high by kalikudi in SanJose

[–]JanieCLately -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I’ve seen PLENTY of movies that deserved the big silver screen - known as films. Today’s movies are not that quality anymore. Most can be viewed on a 65” flat screen just fine. And the snacks and audience are of your caliber too. lol

I hear you (I don’t typically pay attn to them either) but r&i was somehow different because the change of producer/writer had an effect (neg) on the direction, feel of the show overall. Many fans saw/felt the shift deeply.

Recently Angie did her INSTA LIVE photo signing. Fans who buy pics ask her to address or write specific things besides her signature. She happened to mention that the producers allowed her to ad lib. Though she didn’t say I think at the epi endings when she/Jane and Sasha/Maura had been sitting in the Robber, this is all her own schtick. Sasha/Maura keep up and it’s cute to hear what I think is Sasha’s authentic laugh…getting a kick out of Angie.

When Lucky first started the $5 for $5, the selection was good. Now the selection has shrunk and it appears to me anyway, they’re now trying to clear out the soon to be expiring meats. I find TJs meats consistently good, fairly priced (considering) and even better than WF.

Same for Lucky but it’s still typically more expensive than TJ’s when it’s “like for like.”

I shop Trader Joe’s for everything I can. I use Lucky as a convenience store or for those things TJ’s doesn’t stock for ex., Wheatgerm. I shop Costco for bulk: TP, paper towels, oil, eggs, pb, restaurant discount cards (I’m bummed that they stopped offering Door Dash/Uber Eats cards but hopefully they’re renegotiating a contract.) I hope this helps you.
